This article explores the lessons that emerged from two peoples stories, and from those from others people they studied to help ease this major life change. Check it out - what are your thoughts on "retirement?" Curious minds... 😃

What's the difference between those who are able to reinvent themselves in retirement and those who struggle with the void of a sense of lost identity and purpose? This article is a very interesting read and demonstrates that the main focus and planning around financial stability is only the tip of the iceberg.
Life satisfaction in retirement is boosted by this. Retirement brings two significant changes. The first is to your central identity: your sense of who you are and what matters most to you. The second change is to your life structure - how you spend your time and with whom. New research confirms that experiencing alignment between these two things increases satisfaction in retirement. Recently published research shows that three behaviours support this alignment and include self-awareness, agency and adaptability. Read more in the article linked below and then book a time to talk to me about how I can help you achieve satisfaction in your retirement. https://lnkd.in/giHuPN77 #flourishafterfifty #retireready #womensempowerment #coaching
