Day 3 of the Zus Summit was our final day and showcased incredible insights from several of our customers, investors and partners. Susan Hager from Andreessen Horowitz and Devin Carty from Martin Ventures kicked off the morning with a thoughtful, investor-to-investor discussion about marketplace trends, how they select investments and what factors they think will be most important as they look towards the future macroeconomic landscape. Then Jason H. Bent moderated a panel with Robin Clarke from Ursa Health, Meghan Haycraft from Imagine Pediatrics and Zus Health Clinical Informatics Director Aaron Berdofe to share more about how Zus, Ursa and Imagine Pediatrics have teamed up to positively impacted HEDIS metrics by matching claims data with real-time clinical data. We thank all of our partners and customers who attended this event and made the Summit so special. Together, we’re driving the shift toward an always-on, data-driven care model that will reduce costs and improve outcomes for patients everywhere. Stay tuned for a behind the scenes look tomorrow into all of the fun we had between the programming! #ZusHealth #ZusSummit #DigitalHealthcare #MarketplaceTrends #HEDISMetrics #Partnership

Helping teams apply evidence in the care of infants and families. The Vermont Oxford Network (VON) Institute for Evidence-Based Practice is dedicated to helping teams apply evidence in the care they provide to infants and families by integrating proven effective practices into care provided in a local context. While VON is a leader in data-driven quality improvement, this Institute formalizes the role of evidence in defining Potentially Better Practices that can be adopted or adapted through sound quality improvement methods that consider the role of families, teams, and other diverse local factors in the care of infants. The evidence explored by the institute informs toolkits of Potentially Better Practices used in VON quality improvement programs. For the broader worldwide improvement community, the Institute develops evidence briefs to translate the findings of studies in newborn care to practice in specific local settings. We also discuss the latest evidence and its implications in VON Grand Rounds webinars. Learn more about these practices here:

Patient Advocate (background in blood cancer MDS), special interest in clinical trials, recent experience of burnout.
So many great points adressed in this very first podcast by #ISPEP. Picking 1 in particular: placebo in trials. Very wise words by Robert Mitchell-Thain, stressing that placebo controlled trials are still needed, but not for patients in a last resort type situation. And with our current knowledge, and data, it is possible to use RWE as an alternative to placebo. As a real example, via our patient engagement collaboration, use of placebo was dropped on the Repair MDS trial, and RWE used instead. A great benefit, alongside the fact it uses repurposed drugs. Great collaboration. So hope for great results. #PEPTalk #placebo #clinicaltrials #patientengagement #patientcentricity

❗Did you hear about DATAcc by DiMe’s public launch event, “Transforming Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias Research: New Core Digital Clinical Measures”? 📅 On Thursday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. ET, we will unveil our new core measures and the accompanying resources for #Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) to help speed clinical trials, improve patient outcomes, and provide a more inclusive, patient-centered approach to ADRD research. ADRD is one of healthcare's most complex and growing challenges, with 95% of those affected also managing chronic #comorbidities. Over 16 million family members and friends are caregivers, facing immense burdens alongside strained #healthcare systems. Yet, research lacks diversity, particularly among Hispanic and non-white populations, leaving critical gaps in understanding how different communities experience and respond to treatments. Our measures reflect meaningful aspects of health as reported by dementia patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Join us to learn how you can incorporate these measures and resources into your work to: ▪️ Standardize digital measures across trials to enable more diverse patient recruitment and deliver faster, cost-effective results ▪️ Capture continuous data to empower clinicians with real-world patient insights, leading to more informed and timely decisions ▪️ Increase trial efficiency, reducing costs and ensuring trials are more representative to meet the specific needs of all communities 🔗 Register now: https://bit.ly/3Ul8LGY In the meantime, watch this video where our partners share why digital measures are key to transforming research and care in ADRD.
