METCOR/LSI Founder Honored

[WASHINGTON, DC, June 22, 2023] – On Monday, June 5, 2023, the Coast Guard Foundation honored METCOR/LSI Founder and CEO James Muldoon with the Coast Guard Foundation Guardian Award.

The award was presented at the annual Tribute to the United States Coast Guard in Our Nation’s Capital awards dinner at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC. Mr. Muldoon was recognized for his service as the longest serving board member on the committee for the tribute event since its inception 19 years ago.

Mr. Muldoon has consistently supported the Foundation’s fundraising priorities, including supporting cadet leadership development at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy by being a primary contributor to building the Leadership 44 sail training vessels. He has repeatedly come to the aid of Coast Guard families who have lost homes and property from hurricanes and natural disasters through the Foundation’s emergency disaster relief program and has also shared the Coast Guard and the Foundation’s missions with many boaters, bringing new partners to the Foundation’s mission, and enhancing the readiness and morale of Coast Guard members.

“We are proud of the impact Jim has made for so many Coast Guard families, and our company will continue to support this important work with the Coast Guard Foundation,” says METCOR/LSI Vice President Linda Kessler.
