Happy Memorial Day Weekend to all as we come to a close on Memorial Day today! A special moment of remembrance for those that have given everything to serving.

With logistics finding its origins from the military it is no surprise that we find many veterans in the supply chain arena so I find it important to recognize them when we have the opportunity. I actually got the chance to interview Bobby MacKinnon last week for an upcoming episode and we talk about his experience running logistics operations in the military and how it compares to logistics in civilian life. Definitely an interesting conversation to look forward to.

After this nice weekend break I'm gearing up for a big week with the WERC conference starting June 2nd where we will be doing a few podcast interviews and I'll be doing a fireside chat with my friends at Big Joe Forklifts . Then it's quickly back to Philly on June 5th for Home Delivery World USA and our next happy hour that night (register here if you haven't yet!) followed by my keynote session with Tanja Dysli and Caroline Troit on Day 2 while I chair the Future of Warehousing Track. Definitely looking forward to all of these discussions and connecting with everyone!
