In today’s world of surveillance, video management systems (VMS) are revolutionising the way organisations monitor and secure their premises.
These advanced platforms have evolved far beyond simple CCTV setups, integrating cutting-edge technologies, increasingly underpinned by artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning, to enhance video analytics and object detection capabilities.

Creating confidence with Artificial Intelligence

Project Focus: HID announces new integration partnership with Microsoft
HID has integrated with Microsoft Entra ID to enable employees to use their existing physical access cards as a multi-factor authentication (MFA) method to access Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
According to the partnership, this enables organisations to take the next step on their journey to passwordless by simplifying MFA deployment and enabling faster end-user adoption for Entra ID users.
The integration expands options for organisations to tailor their MFA journey while meeting Microsoft’s mandatory MFA requirements and accelerating the path to phishing-resistant passwordless authentication.
“Deploying MFA is one of the most important steps to securing user identities and the purpose of Microsoft Entra ID External Authentication Method (EAM) is to extend the purpose of Entra ID’s functionality by enabling organisations to use the third-party MFA solution of their choosing to establish quick, simple and secure MFA,” said Eleanor Falla, Senior Product Manager for Microsoft Security.
Product Focus: CLD unveils two new advanced louvred fence panel systems
CLD Physical Security Systems (CLD) has introduced two new advanced louvred fence panel systems, the Screenogril S1 and Screenogril S2.
According to the company, these systems are designed to enhance security by limiting visibility into sensitive premises, such as high-security units, schools and hospitals, while effectively preventing intrusion.
The Screenogril S1 offers a versatile solution, providing either 80% or 100% screening to reduce visibility.
It has been rigorously tested by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) and has achieved an LPS 1175 A1 (SR1) Issue 8 rating.
