🌿 Empowering Children Through Nature 🌿 We are thrilled to be part of the “Didactic Nature” project, brought to life by our Italian partner, Fondazione Claudio Ciai, and supported by the Istituto degli Innocenti of Florence, one of Italy’s oldest public institutions dedicated to the care, upbringing, and protection of children. This heartwarming project aims to involve around fifty children aged 3 to 8 from immigrant backgrounds or socio-economically disadvantaged families in activities designed to support their socio-emotional development and integration journey. The program includes Italian and English classes, horse riding, dog therapy, alpaca therapy, gardening, and beekeeping. The children have warmly welcomed these activities, which bring smiles to their faces. Together, we are nurturing a brighter future for these children! #WeActForTheChildren

The dedication of bioMérieux team members always adds a unique touch to the projects we support! ✨ In collaboration with our partner Heart to Heart Foundation in Seoul, South Korea, the bioMérieux Endowment Fund for Education co-developed the Dream Plus Project, providing basic #education support for disadvantaged young #children through arts and physical education to foster their intellectual, emotional and moral growth. To achieve this, the bioMérieux South Korea team showed great creativity by inviting 20 children to experience a ‘Dream Day’, inspiring them to dream big. The day included activities like discovering bacteria on their hands, participating in a climate mural… It was a day filled with smiles and heartwarming feedback such as “I had the time of my life today!” and “bioMérieux Korea has so many fun things to do!” What a wonderful success! In 2022, the bioMérieux Endowment Fund for Education partnered with Fundación Sí in Argentina to develop and implement the Sí Pueden program, an #inclusion program for young children. We are incredibly proud to see the bioMérieux Argentina teams involved in such a program, which aims to establish itself in 43 community centers across 35 cities in Argentina. These centers are educational spaces where #children can express themselves and find their place. Hats off, in particular, to the bioMérieux teams in Buenos Aires, who came together for an amazing “Toys Factory” event, building toys for children as part of the Si Pueden program. The energy was boundless, and the engagement was off the charts! But that’s not all. Volunteers involved in the day also collected school supplies for the #kids, making the day even more special. 📚✏️ A huge shoutout to everyone who participated and made this event a huge success. What a pride to see the bioMérieux ASEAN Clinical teams in Vietnam supporting our long-standing partner, Children of the Mekong, benefiting #children from ethnic minorities in Gia Lai. Since 2021, the Endowment Fund has been a partner to Children of the Mekong, supporting actions aiming at protecting children, stimulating their abilities and love for school, contributing to the growth of early childhood structures, and assisting with parenting. 📚 Recently, our teams collected and distributed toys, clothes, school supplies, milk, and snacks to over 300 children at Sister Sau Kindergarten, the Catholic Boarding School, Vat Classes, and Bo Village Kindergarten. An inspiring visit to Minhang Children’s Activity Center! Nine colleagues from bioMérieux's Shanghai office recently visited a community children’s activity center in the city’s Minhang District. The center, supported by funding from the bioMérieux Endowment Fund, is equipped with age-appropriate toys and books to facilitate learning and play for children aged 0-3. During the visit, our nonprofit partner, Save the Children Hong Kong, organized parent-child activities and games tailored for families with #children aged 2 to 3. Parents were guided to better understand their babies, learn effective ways of parent-child interaction, and promote the child’s growth and the parent-child relationship. 🌍💫 In reflecting on the center’s work, Project Partner Phoebe Pang said, “We hope to contribute to the growth of children and the development of society through these meaningful activities. 🚀 The bioMérieux Endowment Fund Team is Growing! We are thrilled to announce that Sophie ABLOTT is joining the Core Team of the bioMérieux Endowment Fund as the new Partnerships Manager. Previously serving as the France Coordinator for the Endowment Fund, Sophie will now oversee and manage the projects worldwide. She will be the link between Project Partners, Regional Coordinators, and the Fund, ensuring all aspects of project monitoring. 📚 #BacktoSchool Since its creation, the bioMérieux Endowment Fund for Education has been committed to early childhood #education. The Fund believes that quality pre-primary education is the foundation of a child’s developmental journey, and all subsequent stages of education depend on its success. However, despite the proven lifelong benefits of pre-primary education, far too many children around the world are not enrolled in #preschool. We are aiming to change that!
