Today, our director, Anisa Heming, joined US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 3 Administrator, Adam Ortiz, and EPA’s Senior Advisor for Climate Justice, Jasmine Davenport, in Philadelphia to celebrate the launch of the EPA’s grant program to address indoor air quality in schools. The Center for Green Schools is one of the five grantees under this program, which leverages $34 million over the next five years to build capacity at schools and school districts to manage indoor air quality and reduce climate emissions.
