We are excited to announce the successful expansion for our photoresist manufacturing facility at the DuPont Sasakami site in Niigata, Japan. On Oct. 3, we marked this achievement with a grand opening ceremony, joined by DuPont global leaders and distinguished guests. This state-of-the-art facility has allowed us to significantly increase our photoresist production capacity at the site, enabling us to better meet the growing global demand and ensure a stable and reliable supply for our customers. As the DuPont Latin Network (DLN) executive sponsor, I’m thrilled to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) by sharing photos I took during a recent trip to Peru where my oldest daughter was spending 6 weeks as part of a university study abroad program. We had an incredible visit, staying in Cusco where we were able to explore Machu Pichu and experience the rich culture, including plenty of good food and music. Her travels abroad continue as she leaves for an 18-month missionary experience to Argentina.     Latin America has been a special place to me since my own 2-year mission trip to Chile as a young adult. Through my transformative immersion in another culture, I was not only able to appreciate and embrace our differences, but also discover the shared values that unite us, such as a deep-seated dedication to faith, family, and community. I’m thrilled that my daughter has the same opportunity to gain a broader perspective and make an impact in the communities where she serves. I couldn’t be prouder of her.     Yesterday I was able to celebrate HHM with the DLN who hosted a hybrid celebration for DuPont employees. It was a wonderful event that included food, history, and a “Pioneers of Change” panel led by Tamara Martinez-Rabell with colleagues including myself, Phillippe Devieux, Kenneth Hernandez-Burgos, Ph.D., Neville Drysdale, and Kimberly Markiewicz. Thank you to the DLN for hosting not only this event, but events throughout the entire year that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. #DuPont #HHM 

We're excited to share that Rebecca Siegelman, Ph.D., received the Society of Women Engineers Trailblazer award for her outstanding performance in a technical field. Within DuPont Electronics & Industrial, she is developing novel polymides with applications in electronic packaging and leading a project for new materials in next-generation vehicle motors. Congratulations, Rebecca, on this award and for your continued commitment to innovation!

I recently returned from a terrific trip to Taiwan, Korea, and China where I was able to connect with employees and customers. Having so many face-to-face interactions and opportunities to recognize and appreciate colleagues for their outstanding contributions left me energized and excited about our future. I also met with regional talent, hosted town halls, and chatted with customers about how we can continue being a Partner of Choice by delivering solutions to their most pressing challenges. At the end of my trip, I participated in DuPont’s Asia Pacific Leaders Summit with Leland Weaver, Alexa Dembek, Sasha Down, Yi Zhang, Chuck Xu, SANG HO KANG, Jeroen Bloemhard and Tina Wu where we discussed strategy, innovation, customer insights, growth, and career development. Being together with so many talented individuals is invaluable—our colleagues are truly world-class and care deeply about each other and the organization. We are extremely proud to share that Nora Radu, Ph.D., Senior Laureate, DuPont Electronics & Industrial, has been selected to be the recipient of the American Chemical Society (ACS) 2025 Award for Distinguished Service in the Advancement of Inorganic Chemistry. Yearly, this award recognizes individuals who have advanced inorganic chemistry through significant service in addition to the performance of outstanding research. Nora’s selection is a testament to her reputation as a trusted leader and innovator in the scientific community. With this award she is being recognized for groundbreaking accomplishments in industrial chemistry and leadership to the chemistry community through the ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry. She has been a Fellow of ACS since 2015, and previously served as chair of the ACS Division of Inorganic Chemistry and on the Editorial Advisory Board of the ACS Central Science Journal.
