The mission of the College of Arts & Sciences is to develop and support career-ready graduates and advance all students to be lifelong learners and leaders in their professional disciplines. Through the general education program, the College emphasizes academic rigor in critical thinking, global perspectives, creative problem solving, communication skills, scientific and cultural literacy, as well as ethical interaction with the contemporary world. In its academic degree programs, the College focuses on applied studies that implement state of the art curriculum to educate students for long-term success in their profession. 📢 Exciting News! 📚 I’m thrilled to share that our latest book chapter, "Migrant Displacement in Conflicts: Emergency Management Response to Ukrainian Refugees and Turkish Asylum Seekers in Germany," has been published! Co-authored with my esteemed colleagues Iuliia Hoban, Ph.D. Tanya Corbin, and Logan Gerber-Chavez, PhD, this chapter delves into the critical challenges and responses in managing the displacement of refugees and asylum seekers in the context of international conflicts. We explore the specific cases of Ukrainian refugees and Turkish asylum seekers in Germany, offering insights into the emergency management strategies employed.
