The Family Law Section furthers knowledge of our members in all matters relating to family law including, but not limited to, marriage, dissolution, custody and support, community property, adoptions, matrimonial mediation and other matters affecting the rights, privileges, duties and responsibilities to the members of the family. The Section was organized in 1978. Family Law Section of CLA shares our deepest concerns with our members, colleagues, your families and friends, and everyone who has been impacted by the catastrophic fires in Los Angeles. We offer our condolences for the lives lost and to the communities experiencing this devastation. The Family Law Executive Committee convened at the California Lawyers Association Annual Meeting to meet with other sections to discuss leadership, business, and plans for the upcoming year.
