Our First-Year Fellows and second-year fellow Monisha Veerapaneni, MHA, CLSSBB visited the Geisinger Marworth Treatment Center for a tour of the facilities and a team-building activity. Marworth Treatment Center is Geisinger's award-winning addiction treatment center. Newsweek ranked it the #1 treatment center in Pennsylvania and #5 nationwide. Happy Mentor Monday! Today, we highlight Megan Brosious, the CAO for the Central Region and Preceptor for the Fellowship Hospital Operations—Central Region Track. Geisinger's central region includes three hospital campuses: Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital, Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital, and Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. The latter is also home to Geisinger Janet Weis Children's Hospital (the only children's hospital in the region). Sarah Slusark, MHA (second year), and Allison Kendall, MHA (first year), are the current fellows for this track. Please contact them with any questions about their track or the program. The application submission deadline is September 8.
