  • 🤔AI on the Rise: Can Talents Keep Up?🤔 In just three years, Generative AI has sparked a rapid transformation in corporate legal teams. The “GenAI and Future Corporate Legal Work: How Ready Are In-house Teams?” report, published by Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) in partnership with Everlaw, revealed insights from 475 in-house legal professionals: 🔹58% of legal teams plan to rely less on external service providers due to AI’s cost-cutting potential. 🔹Nearly half 49% of in-house legal counsels now expect AI to reduce operational costs.  🔹25% of those surveyed already seeing the benefits of cost-reduction But with all this progress, only a quarter feel prepared for the talent and skills shifts AI brings. “As GenAI adoption takes off in-house, CLOs must lead the way in upskilling employees and reimagining roles, making clear how GenAI proficiency is expected and rewarded,” said Gloria Lee, Chief Legal Officer of Everlaw.
