  • July marked the tenth anniversary of the introduction of Qualifying Longevity Annuity Contracts (QLAC), and Pacific Life’s Institutional team, represented by Jennifer Wing, Scott McGill, and Chris Stout, celebrated with cake.    Of course, QLACs provide much more than just an excuse to eat cake.     A QLAC is a type of deferred income annuity specifically designed to be purchased with funds from a qualified retirement plan, such as an IRA or 401(k), and they can be part of a financially secure retirement by providing guaranteed income for life.    The primary purpose of a QLAC is to provide a guaranteed income stream for life starting at a future date; distributions can be deferred until age 85.    For over a decade, QLACs have helped retirees have their cake and eat it too, and that’s worth celebrating.    Learn more at https://lnkd.in/grkWhFqw
