Silicon Valley fortsätter att vara en global ledare inom teknikutveckling, särskilt inom AI, och hemvist för ett antal plattformsbolag vars verksamheter har djupgående påverkan på såväl samhällsutvecklingen som våra privata liv. Dessutom ökar Silicon Valleys betydelse när det gäller nationell säkerhet. Det skriver Inger Gustafsson, som leder Vinnovas verksamhet i Silicon Valley i en artikel i Dagens Industri. Hon konstaterar att för USA är Kina konkurrenten inom framväxande teknik medan Europa halkat efter, och att vi har all anledning att lära av Silicon Valley och att utveckla ett närmare samarbete. Impact Innovation - Sweden's innovation investment for the 2030s! Impact Innovation is the next generation's strategic innovation program. It is an actor-driven and long term collection of forces aimed at contributing to global competitiveness through sustainable development transformation. The Swedish Energy Agency, Formas and Vinnova stand behind the initiative. As of February, five programs have been granted funding. In the programs, a wide range of actors from business, public activities, academia and civil society will collaborate. The US Moonshot Approach as a Driver for Innovation - With Examples in Cancer and Space Exploration Foresight is an approach that gives us the power to help shape the future – and not just let it happen. It's not about predicting the future, no one can do that! It is about working with scenarios about the future based on the signals we see and the knowledge we have today.
