Known locally as the "Magnum Rifle", the Winchester Auto-44 is a heavy-duty automatic-rifle with built-in select-fire capability. It's based from a prototype competing for adoption in the late World-War 1 for the Automatic Rifle role, though lost out against the Browning Automatic Rifle. Locally, it found a niche in the commercial hunting market as one of the few magazine-fed semi-automatic 44-magnum rifles before the war.
Features:
> Ammo selection between .45 Round, .44-Magnum, and .45-70 (12.7mm for WO-R)
> Multiplicative Damage Bonus calculation
> Select-Fire Triggers - These have different fire-mode with Hip-Fire and ADS.
> Five levels of damage, allowing it to level up with you.
> Can be crafted at the Chem Workbench.
> Can be found at the hands of Trappers and Gunners
Legendaries:
> Widowmaker - Custom Magnum Rifle atop the Ruined Church in Far-Harbor, can be found during the Heretic quest.
> Cromwell's Invocation - Confessor Martin's modified Magnum Rifle, only accessible during Reformation quest.
Notes:
> Yes, the ADS Single-Shot deals extra damage, and ADS Burst-Fire has increased fire-rate.
> The Select-Fire system is script-based and spell-based, that means it is subject to script-lag and takes a moment for the fire-mode to switch. It is advisable to simply stop firing a moment in between transitions from ADS and Hip-Fire.
> The Select-Fire system would be disabled if the weapon is equipped during modification at the workbench. This can be simply fixed by unequipping and reequipping the weapon.
> Single-Shot ADS of select-fire triggers can be fired much more quickly than basic semi-auto triggers if you repeatedly manually clicked.
> If you don't want to be forced with using the select-fire triggers, the "classic", single-mode triggers are still included.
> I actually conceptualized the function first -- of the ADS select-fire, before making the form of the weapon. This is exactly inspired by Widowmaker's rifle in Overwatch, and then the rest is just cobbled on the spot.
> Makes use of the 312 "WeaponSpeedMult" Actor-Value. This is why non-looping sound is used. Can end up buggy, somehow.
