I completed an initial degree in disability studies, then specialised in addiction. During my work in community health & addiction I became interested in psychotherapy and undertook further formal study. My technique includes aspects of ACT, mindfulness and is psychodynamically informed.
We all repeat behaviour at some stage in our lives. Understanding family of origin and attachment can assist to identify where patterns of thought and behaviour come from. Making decisions consciously enables greater empowerment and emotional choice.
