Psychotherapy is about building a greater awareness and understanding of your patterns in life. This allows you to find a sense of spaciousness where, rather than act reactively, you can make more conscious choices and cultivate a stronger sense of self. If you find yourself often feeling anxious or depressed, held back by past traumas, not living the life you want, or lacking direction, then psychotherapy can offer you the change you need.
My approach is person centred, meaning that I listen closely to what I hear, attend to you with compassion and openness, and am guided by what you are needing. Art Therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy also inform the way I work. Most importantly my therapeutic work focuses on us forming a strong connection based on trust and understanding.
