Accepting new clients for in person and video sessions. The most important relationship we have in the world is the one we have with ourselves. I’m sorry you are needing to be here; I am glad you are choosing yourself and that you are worth feeling the way you want to feel. When you’ve come to the point of accepting that you need support in overcoming challenges in your life, you may feel overwhelmed, beat down, tired, and low. Many people feel a sense of relief following even the initial session where they’ve taken the first step in improving their life, relationships with others, and the relationship with themselves.
I have 10 years’ experience in the mental health field providing support to those in crisis or emotional distress, those who have experienced relationship and sexual violence, people who have endured difficult childhood experiences including abuse and neglect, as well as those struggling with interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, and mood and anxiety.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Brock University and a Masters of Social Work degree with a mental health and health specialization from the University of Toronto. I use an eclectic approach and have training in a variety of therapeutic interventions and techniques. There isn’t an issue too small or big to be supported through.
