I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a Certified Clinical Chaplain and Spiritual Counsellor from the College of Pastoral Education and Psychotherapy (CPSP) Canada - USA and Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC). I have more than 25 years of experience providing individual, couples and family counselling through a holistic approach of mind, body soul and spirit. I have been working as a Spiritual Counsellor and Caregiver at the Sick Kids Hospital Toronto since 1997. I am also an imam, a public speaker and an activist in several social advocacy groups.
I am certified in Mental Health First Aid, Suicide Prevention and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I have conducted several mental health, parenting and youth workshops in different cities across Canada.
