I am a PMHNP located in Idaho Falls with telehealth options for Idaho residents as well. I am board certified to independently diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for psychiatric conditions. I attended graduate school at Eastern Kentucky University. I earned three other undergraduate degrees from Idaho State University and the University of Idaho. I have experience with psychiatric inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition to the medical field I have worked in a variety of industries including university research, biomedical lab work, PSR services, and teaching. I look forward to working with you.

Patients often discuss being very nervous about their upcoming appointment. Your first session may evoke certain emotions, this is totally normal. During the appointment you will be asked about the reason for coming in. You may cry, feel awkward, or experience various kinds of emotions while discussing your concerns, but know that it is ok.

Aaron is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He specializes in Psychiatry. Aaron is passionate about educating his patients and helping patients develop an individualized evidence-based plan of care. He believes in the importance of a patient-provider partnership and working with a team to treat the different factors that affect our mental health. Aaron is also open to identifying alternative ways to manage mental health struggles through more natural ways. He is both experienced and thorough in his care.

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with eight years of healthcare experience. I am dedicated, compassionate, and patient focused. My approach to care combines medication management with supportive therapy, focusing on empowering individuals to overcome personal challenges through a comprehensive and integrative method. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, psychoeducation, and motivational interviewing, tailoring each treatment plan to the unique needs of my patients.

With 30 years of experience in nursing and the last 17 in psychiatric care, Kathy is highly knowledgeable and supportive. She is a safe space for all people in the Treasure Valley area. The philosophy is client centered, even if you have never been on medications and some one may have suggested them or have been on them for years and they are not working as well as before. Having worked extensively in both inpatient and outpatient settings, he has the experience and skill to work with individuals and families dealing with the full spectrum of mental health conditions focusing on patient-centered, individualized care. Jeff is a strong believer in utilizing both traditional and evidenced based alternative treatment modalities to assist clients in reaching their highest level of functioning, by the least intrusive means.

Rene Alamo is an Idaho native who attended Gonzaga University’s Graduate School of Nursing to achieve his Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). When Rene started his journey into nursing he dedicated his career to his late grandmother, Trini. With that dedication, his goal is to provide every one of his patients with the highest quality compassionate and competent care. He treats patients across the age spectrum from children to geriatric. His goal as an advanced practice provider is to extend evidence based, compassionate and competent care to treat our communities' mental health needs.
