Shealyn Cyr, MD is a board-certified Psychiatrist in Virginia who has been practicing since 2006. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Texas at San Antonio, her medical school at Texas A&M University, College of Medicine, and her Residency at the University of Texas at Southwestern. I am an Adult and Geriatric psychiatrist, in private practice since 1997. I specialize in psycho-pharmacological treatment for a wide range of mental disorders. Much of my focus is on treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, and on post-traumatic stress disorder. I emphasize open rapport with my patients.
