Couples therapy is my passion. Given the chaos and the way in which human relationships are being undermined in our world today, I feel this work is particularly needed. As far as human happiness goes, I see time and time again that it is the quality of a person’s relationships that makes it or breaks it. This is really the foundation of my couples therapy practice. More than ever, the world needs couples who have each other’s backs, and can bring empathy and intelligent action into the world.
I am a psychotherapist licensed in Minnesota and Oregon offering online couples therapy. I specialize in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Gottman Therapy. Additionally, I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Certified Narrative therapist and Certified Sex Therapist.
I come to this work with a belief in people, in possibilities, and in the power of relationships. I work from the perspective that healing happens in a positive environment, and that relationships are sustained through love, laughter, presence, humanity, acceptance, and solidarity.
