I work best with individuals who prefer a therapist to be interactive and collaborative. I strive to support you emotionally and challenge you to experiment with new ways of thinking and behaving which increase happiness and life satisfaction. The nature of your presenting problem can vary from a recent disruption in a significant relationship to life-long difficulties with anxiety, depression, mood swings or childhood trauma. All these problems can be helped with self understanding and acceptance along with specific behavioral interventions to ease your pain and suffering.

I have spent years teaching and supervising future therapists, so I feel comfortable and competent with a range of perspectives, situations, and issues that occur in therapy. I am a licensed LCMHC and MLADC in the state of NH. I work with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and/or struggling to get through past traumas. In addition, I specialize in working with individuals who have substance and alcohol addictions and/or are seeking to maintain long-term recovery. I use a person-centered approach to therapy to best serve the individual and help them achieve their greatest outcome.

How does one choose the right therapist? I realize the process can be overwhelming and I try to make it as simple and stress free as I can. People seek counseling for many reasons. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues or major life events, you will be met with compassion and respect.

*Temporarily not taking new clients* I have been providing individual and family therapy/support since 2011. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders. I will use an array of CBT, DBT, Solution Focused and Motivational Interviewing approaches to meet my clients where they are at and support them with the changes they wish to see for themselves. I take a very laid back approach, and pride myself on providing a safe and comfortable space for my clients to identify and work towards their individual goals.
