Of the eleven constituencies in major cities of south India including Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad, the NDA coalition won 5 seats, with the INDIA coalition also securing an equal number of seats, while the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen won one seat.

Compared with 2019, the NDA coalition gained one seat, while the INDIA coalition remained unchanged in these constituencies.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (NDA) swept all three of Bengaluru’s constituencies - Bengaluru North, Bengaluru Central, and Bengaluru South.
The INDIA coalition won all the constituencies in Chennai. Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (INDIA) repeated its performance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections by bagging seats in Chennai North, Chennai Central, and Chennai South.
In Telangana, the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen party (Coalition: Others) won the Hyderabad seat, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (NDA) secured the Secunderabad seat. The Indian National Congress won both of Kerala’s major cities - Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam. The Telugu Desam (NDA) won the Visakhapatnam constituency of Andhra Pradesh.

In one of these eleven seats, the winning margin was less than 2.5% of the votes, and in two seats it was between 2.5% to 5% of the votes.
