Microsoft Unveils Deadpool-Designed “Cheeky” Xbox Controller

Microsoft introduced today what is probably the most memorable custom-designed Xbox controller in years. To promote Marvel’s upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie, the company will be offering a Deadpool-designed “Cheeky Controller” modeled after Deadpool’s rump. And if you saw the Deadpool movies, you’ll immediately know what to expect.

“The appropriately named “Cheeky Controller” channels Deadpool’s buns of steel in its firm (yet surprisingly comfortable) grip. Designed by the Merc with a Mouth himself, it also comes clad in the anti-hero’s instantly recognizable—and might we add, incredibly flattering—red and black tactical suit,” the Xbox Wire post reads.

This is a global sweepstakes available for everyone aged 18+, and Microsoft is also offering a custom Deadpool-inspired DeadXbox Series X console with 2 Cheeky controllers.

Last but not least, Microsoft will be offering a free Cable Guys Deadpool Controller Holder by EXG Pro to the first 1,000 fans to purchase an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core from the Microsoft Store on July 22. However, this exclusive offer will be only available in North America and Canada.
