New way to pin apps to the taskbar: Microsoft is making it possible to drag and drop apps from the pinned section in the Start menu directly to the taskbar. Microsoft also made this feature available on the Release Preview Channel last week.
Widgets on the Lock Screen: Microsoft is improving the designs of the weather, finance, traffic, and sports widgets on the Lock screen with an acrylic blur effect, optimized card size, spacing, and font. These improvements were previously rolled out to the Canary Channel last week.
Widgets taskbar button: Microsoft is also improving the design of the Widgets button on the taskbar with a larger set of animated icons that should also look clearer.
Microsoft also fixed various issues with the Dev Channel build 26120.1252, including the stutters that some Insiders could notice in some animations, especially those related to Task View. Another issue causing File Explorer to crash when navigating away from Home has also been fixed.
