Matthew McConaughey was stung by a bee, but he seems alright, alright, alright.

On July 10, the “Interstellar” actor concerned fans when he shared a selfie on Instagram of his eye swollen shut. But in the picture, the actor wore a grin, and he wrote an amiable, pun-filled caption to allay any worry.

“Bee swell,” he captioned the post.

“Get well soon Mr. McConaughey,” a user wrote in the comments section of the post. “Hopefully, you have an ice pack on your eye. Benadryl and hydrocortisone cream will have you feeling better in (no) time. Get your coolest shades on and know that your fans love you.”

“Are you all right all right all right?” another asked.

“Of course you made light of a dark moment,” one user wrote. “No, but seriously, we hope you’re okay.”

Bee sting aside, McConaughey's summer appears to be sweet so far.

On July 7, the 54-year-old celebrated his eldest son Levi's 16th birthday. The actor posted a series of photos of Levi with his family as well as an audio message filled with advice.

“Alright, Levi, coming on that age, buddy. About to be out on your own,” the recording begins. “Me and your mom hope we’ve done as good of a job as we can.

"You’re not gonna really have us as a safety net out there in the wonderful, wild world forever,” he continued. “Just go out, enjoy. Be aware of your surroundings. Be yourself. Know when to say yes, know when to say no, know when to say maybe. See the good in everybody else, but know that not everyone else is always paying attention.”

He finished his message with two tips: “Take your time. Enjoy the journey.”
