Are ‘Love Island USA’ stars Aaron and Kaylor still together?

“Love Island USA” wrapped its 2024 season after journeying through the ups and downs of many couples, and though Serena Page and Kordell Beckham emerged from it all as winners, viewers still want to know: Are the other pairs still together?

Kaylor Martin and Aaron Evans were early favorites on “Love Island USA” Season Six, beginning their romance minutes into the premiere episode. Their relationship outside the villa had been tested, however, and the two finally gave an update on their relationship in the reunion episode on Aug. 19.

Kaylor, 22 and from Pittsburgh, and Aaron, 26 and from the U.K., had chemistry from their very first chat — but after a few days of bliss, they started to struggle. The two argued after Kaylor kissed another islander in a challenge. But their heated interaction helped Kaylor realize how much she cared for Aaron. They made up — but that moment proved to be just a taste of the tests they’d faced in the villa, leading to multiple tears and confrontations.

What happened between Aaron and Kaylor on ‘Love Island USA’?

Following their first argument, Kaylor and Aaron seemed to be on the right track. However, there was another relationship Aaron was invested in: one with his best friend Rob Rausch. 

During one of the season’s most dramatic recouplings, the girls voted to dump from the island Andrea Carmona, who was coupled up with Rob at the time. While an outraged Rob declared he would leave from the island with her, Aaron also sobbed and contemplated exiting with his friend. Rob changed his mind, which elated Aaron, though it made fans wonder if Aaron would ever show Kaylor such dedication.

When “Casa Amor” week arrived, the boys were given the option of staying in the main villa and choosing not to meet the six new bombshells — an unexpected twist! Though Kaylor and Aaron had been coupled up for weeks, he happily decided to join the other boys and travel to Casa Amor. 

As viewers watched Kaylor repeatedly express how much she missed Aaron, they simultaneously saw Aaron form a connection with Daniela Ortiz Rivera in the other villa. Aaron and Daniela bonded over being bilingual and spoke in Spanish about wanting to kiss each other. 

Aaron gave into temptation and kissed Daniela outside of the challenges. Kaylor received a video that showed a glimpse of Aaron’s behavior. Though he returned to the villa alone and hoped to reunite with Kaylor, she announced that she wanted to be single.

Kaylor and Aaron quickly rekindled after Aaron apologized — but Aaron withheld details about some of his actions in Casa Amor. More information was revealed during a challenge where the islanders read a tweet that saidKaylor had not seen “the worst of it.”

Then, during some intense “Movie Night” episodes, Kaylor watched multiple clips of Aaron’s intimate moments with Daniela, including a handshake they created that was nearly identical to the one he shared with Kaylor. 

Aaron said he stood by his actions because they reflected how he felt in the moment. He and Kaylor argued before he stormed off, needing to be comforted by Rob. 

When Kaylor continued to call him out the next day, Aaron blurted out that he loved her — a profession that fellow islander Liv Walker told TODAY.com rubbed her the wrong way. 

Kaylor, again, decided to forgive Aaron. But viewers had a different response. Kaylor and Aaron were voted as one of the bottom couples and only remained in the villa after they were saved by their fellow islanders. 

Even after the two met each other’s families, fans were not convinced. Ahead of the finale, Kaylor and Aaron received the lowest votes and were dumped from the island in Episode 34.

Kaylor said Aaron was everything she wanted out of the experience. He agreed and said he was also happy to end his experience alongside Rob, who was also dumped during the same episode with his partner Kassy Castillo. 

Are Aaron and Kaylor still together now? 

By the time Aaron and Kaylor left “Love Island USA,” they were exclusive — Aaron had asked Kaylor to be his girlfriend and they both said they loved the other.

Though they’ve posted on social media together after exiting the show, there seems to be trouble in paradise. Kaylor and Aaron appeared on the Aug. 1 episode of the BFFs Pod — remotely from separate locations — and spoke a bit about where their relationship stands now. Kaylor had indicated her “perspective definitely has changed” after watching the show back and wanted to “take a step back” from their relationship.

At the reunion episode that aired Aug. 19, Kaylor and Aaron indicated there was definitely trouble in paradise.

“I’m just going to come out and say it. I lied to Kaylor,” Aaron said. He then disclosed that he had been more intimate with Daniela than what was seen on the show.

“Wait, what?” cried Kaylor, who was sitting next to Aaron. “Why didn’t you tell me this two days ago when I was asking you in our hotel room. Be honest. Look me in the eyes when you say that. Don’t look at ArianaI’m tired of the f—ing excuses. Take accountability and be a f—ing man. I just saw you the past three f—ing days in New York and you haven’t said that to me once. Why do you keep f—ing lying to me? And quit loving bombing me. I cannot believe I wasted my entire f—ing summer on you, Aaron. I don’t want anything to do with you.”

Aaron sat quietly while Kaylor then added: “I walked into the villa being so confident and you beat me down, beat me down, beat me down. And I left a different f—ing girl.”
