Our workshop team has been working hard over the past 8 weeks building this shield for a segmental tunnel we are undertaking in Isipingo, South of Durban, as part of the Clark Road Stormwater Outfall Project. Yesterday it was successfully delivered to site, placed into the pit and handed over to the site team.

The BLOC Contractors team is hard at work on the Old North Coast Road Lateral Support Project, applying shotcrete at height to create an edging that prevents water from flowing over or behind the lateral support. This is crucial to maintaining the structure’s strength and integrity and preventing runoff during seasons of high rainfall. #BLOCContractors #LateralSupport

Our team continues to make great progress on the N2 Lateral Support Project. In addition to our usual drill and shotcreting work, our client requested a smooth finish on the concrete to enhance its appearance. While this isn't typically part of our process, we've made sure that it looks great by smoothening it after the shotcreting, as seen in the last image.
