Impact Investing South Africa is a cross sectoral initiative aimed at building the eco-system in order to accelerate the deployment of capital that optimises financial, social and environmental returns. The group is led by 11 high level decision makers in investment, business, policy and academia. The UCT GSB Bertha Centre, funded by Ford Foundation is providing a secretariat. Our members contribute through working groups which comprise expert practitioners in the industry. Working groups include Supply side, Demand side, Foundations and Impact Measurement Management.
