Today we had the honor of closing our markets alongside our distinguished colleagues from the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX Group) and the esteemed members of the Nigerian SEC. We anticipate continued collaboration and hope that this special visit will inspire other Exchanges and the broader African capital market ecosystem to continue building stronger and more resilient markets. We sound our kudu horn to symbolize the strength of collaboration, the shared vision between our exchanges and the prosperous future we are building together.

On Tuesday the 8th of October, we will host a Market Open where we will Ring the bell for Financial literacy as a symbol of our support and participation in a global initiative led by the International Organization of Securities Commissions - IOSCO. We will also announce the winners of the annual JSE Virtual Trading Game (VTG) at this market open further showcasing one of many initiatives we drive to improve financial literacy in our country. Let us work together to raise awareness and enhance access to financial literacy programmes for future generations.
