  • This week, we join the Department of Water and Sanitation in celebrating National Water Week 2025, a campaign dedicated to educating the public on the importance of water conservation and the need to protect South Africa’s scarce water resources. As engineers, we understand that sustainable water infrastructure is key to ensuring long-term access to clean water—especially in a country ranked among the 30 driest in the world. At Nyeleti Consulting, we are proud to contribute through stormwater management systems, water-retaining structures, and sustainable supply solutions that protect both people and the environment. National Water Week also forms part of Water Month, an extension of the United Nations’ World Water Day on 22 March, which calls for global action to ensure safe water for all by 2030. This year’s theme highlights the growing need for collaborative, future-focused solutions to the challenges we face. 💡 Water is life. Use it wisely. Protect it always. 🔗 #NationalWaterWeek2025 #WaterForAll #SustainableWater #EngineeringExcellence #NyeletiConsulting #WorldWaterDay #WaterConservation

  • 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 🌱 Stormwater management is key to building resilient urban areas that can withstand climate change and protect our communities. Our innovative stormwater systems are designed not only to direct and store stormwater efficiently, but also to promote sustainability, biodiversity, and urban appeal. Have you heard of WSUD and SUDS? These buzzwords are transforming how we approach stormwater in cities. WSUD (Water Sensitive Urban Design) means ensuring urban development respects water sustainability. With urban areas typically leading to impermeable surfaces and loss of vegetation, WSUD offers a way forward to balance progress with the environment. SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) is all about seeing the value of rainwater and managing it smartly. By capturing, using, delaying, or absorbing rainwater, SUDS help reduce flood risks, improve runoff quality, and make our cities more beautiful and sustainable. Imagine green roofs, retention ponds, bio-retention areas, and permeable paving making urban areas more vibrant and resilient. At Nyeleti Consulting, we believe in designing sustainable solutions for safer cities – because a well-designed city is one that protects and nurtures its people and environment. 🌍 Watch the video to see how our innovative stormwater management designs are creating safer, resilient urban areas! 💧 #StormwaterManagement #UrbanResilience #WSUD #SUDS #SustainableCities #NyeletiConsulting #EngineeringExcellence
