US Strategic Metals Partners with Glencore and Chilean Cobalt to Strengthen US Cobalt Supply Chain US Strategic Metals (USSM) announced a partnership on Thursday with Glencore (LON: GLEN) and Chilean Cobalt (OTCQB: COBA) (C3) to explore domestic downstream processing of cobalt and copper products from C3’s La Cobaltera project in Chile. FQM seeks damages in Panama as its copper facility sits idle Canadian copper mining giant First Quantum Minerals is seeking damages after it was forced to shutter its flagship copper mine in Panama last year.
