“My experience at the ADF has been wonderful, as I get to work with a bunch of passionate colleagues who inspire me daily. Their commitment to their work and community inspires and motivates me to go above and beyond. I feel grateful for the trust and responsibility given to me in my work, in assisting and enabling everyone else to achieve their targets and goals.”

Meet our team
All Staff Conference 2024
At the start of May 2024, our national ADF staff got together in Melbourne for the All Staff Event - an annual two-day gathering where we share ideas, and learn from one another and guest presenters. It's great chance to collaborate and connect, and staff walked away feeling motivated to continue working towards the ADF mission of inspiring positive change and delivering evidence-based approaches to minimise alcohol and drug harm.
Leadership Program graduates - 2023
Congratulations to our leadership program graduates! They’ve just completed a six-month program facilitated by Richard Farrelly from The Leadership Sphere. The final session was a full-day workshop held in Melbourne, with interstate staff travelling to Victoria for it. The day began with storytelling from our CEO, Erin Lalor AM. The ADF has a commitment to investing in our current and future leaders.
Cultural Respect and Safety Training
A group of our staff recently took part in a two-day training course: Cultural Respect and Safety Training – engaging respectfully with Aboriginal Australians. This training is undertaken by all ADF staff and is one of the actions outlined in our Reconciliation Action Plan. The training was held at the City of Melbourne Bowls Club in Flagstaff Gardens.
