For young people across the country, the transition from school to work can be a challenging time. For Ashton, a young man from the Central Coast living with autism, this journey required even more courage, determination, and the right people to help him along the way. Thanks to Asuria's Disability Employment Services (DES) and tailored support from his dedicated mentor, Cassandra, Ashton was able to break down barriers, gain confidence, and secure a job he loves at Peak Physique Gym in Umina Beach! It was a pleasure to see so many of our Transition to Work participants engaging with local employers and exploring education, training, and employment opportunities.
