About us
Construction has been Buildcorp’s core business for over 30 years, however the evolution of our family owned business has differentiated us beyond just what we do. Our difference comes from who we are and what we stand for. How we treat our people, partners and community matters to each of us. Whether it’s a Project Manager proudly handing over another project defect-free, a Site Supervisor proactively ensuring their team make it home safe, or men and women in balanced teams finding the best solution, our values are put into action every day. The collective, collaborative attitude of our people is Buildcorp’s real difference and our reward is three decades of success: passionate staff, loyal customers, industry leading systems, award winning projects, supportive suppliers and a reputation to be proud of. The Buildcorp Group consists of four teams with offices across the east coast of Australia. We service a wide variety of clients with projects spanning disciplines of commercial construction, including base building construction, refurbishment, building upgrades, fit-out, remedial building, heavy industrial projects and architectural joinery.

NEXT GENERATION | Buildcorp is proud to sponsor the Annual Buildcorp Rugby Player Induction Camp, an essential program for incoming professional rugby players to learn about personal development on and off the field. The camp delivered a workshop on media skills and networking to equip new players with tools to manage the media demands of professional rugby, followed by a dinner at Buildcorp where players were given the chance to network with past players and staff to develop meaningful connections and support networks. Tony Sukkar AM, Buildcorp Managing Director, expressed his pride in the partnership’s impact: "At Buildcorp, we believe in building strong foundations—not only in construction but in communities and individuals. Supporting RUPA, particularly through initiatives like the Induction Camp, aligns perfectly with our values of teamwork, continual learning and preparedness. We are thrilled to continue helping rugby players shape fulfilling futures both during and after their playing careers." We look forward to working with RUPA to provide a networking platform for past and current players to connect with industry leaders and broaden their professional career options post-rugby.

TURNING PLANS INTO PROGRESS | Since taking possession of the site just over eight weeks ago, the Eastern Creek Quarter Outlet project has been progressing at full steam. Working hand in hand with Frasers Property Australia and our early works subcontractor MOITS, we have made significant strides across the 80,000sqm site, ensuring we safeguard the programme and maintain the fitout timelines for the incoming 101 tenants. In just eight weeks, we have: - Initiated works across the full 80,000sqm site, leaving no ground unturned - Completed the installation of more than 200 piles and 200 pad footings - Placed over 12,000 tonnes of DGB to mitigate the effects of adverse weather - Started erecting structural steel - Commenced the first of many concrete slab pours This progress is a huge testament to the dedication of our project team, subcontractor partners and tradespeople on site, as well as the ongoing collaborative partnership we share with Frasers Property Australia and Moits. Thank you to our project partners for all their work to date: Hames Sharley, Northrop Consulting Engineers, Henry & Hymas Consulting Engineers, Acoustic Logic, Arcadia Landscape Architecture, Affinity Fire Engineering, and Certatude Video by Sky Photography

GRATITUDE & CELEBRATION | As the year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank our key delivery partners. Your commitment and expertise have been instrumental in the success of our Victorian branch, enabling us to complete standout projects like the award-winning narrm ngarrgu Library & Family Services, Australia Post Melbourne Support Centre, Seven Network, Alfred Health Retail Precinct Upgrade, 181 William Street and First People’s Health and Wellbeing Frankston, amongst many others. To celebrate these achievements, we recently hosted a breakfast at The Norman in South Yarra. It was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on the year, honour our shared successes, and recognise the collaborative spirit and care that have driven our work forward. SOFITEL SYDNEY WENTWORTH | We're pleased to share a sneak peek at our recent refurbishment of Sofitel Sydney Wentworth guest rooms, courtesy of REILLYS. Following an extensive ECI process, and completed early works package, our team have successfully handed over upgrades across 436 hotel guest rooms and suites, in partnership with Futuro Capital, FK and Essence Project Management. Thank you to REILLYS for the below video. We look forward to sharing more of this project in the coming weeks. #Buildcorp #BuildcorpNSW #Refurbishment #Accommodation
SOFITEL SYDNEY WENTWORTH || REILLYS is proud to have worked with the incredible team at Buildcorp on the $70 million refurbishment of the iconic Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, designed by architecture and interior design firm FK. This transformation celebrates both the historic significance and modern sophistication of one of Sydney’s most treasured landmarks. Our involvement included designing and installing custom rods paired with textured deep toned fabrics that added both style and function. James Dunlop Textiles Group's Vela fabric was used to create a moody, green ambiance in the corridors and halls, while Basford Brands’ Weylands and Odin fabrics brought a refined touch to the guest rooms. Collaborating closely with the client, we ensured every detail reflected the elegance and quality Sofitel is known for. This project highlights our ability to deliver tailored fit-for-purpose solutions for high-end spaces in high-volume, and we’re proud to have contributed to one of Sydney’s most prestigious hotels. #SofitelSydneyWentworth #LuxuryDesign #CustomSolutions #CommunityImpact #Sydney #Hospitality

AUSTRALIA POST BURNLEY | We are thrilled to share a glimpse of Australia Post's new National Support Office, one of our recently delivered fit-outs partnering with Hassell, FACTION, Arup, Slattery and McKenzie Group Consulting. Located in the vibrant city-fringe suburb of Burnley, our 5th project with Australia Post underscores our ongoing partnership with the leading national postal service. Now housing over 3,000 staff, this 8-floor fit-out has been described as a “no-frills, high-tech” workplace - designed by Hassell to pay homage to Australia Post’s delivery centres and introducing an approachably industrial feel to the space. The dynamic and sustainable design principles injected into the workplace encourage inclusivity, adaptability, and a reconnection to the frontline worker. Throughout construction, our project team supported several environmentally and socially conscious building practices. In addition to maintaining the building's 6-Star Green star rating, the project results in the refurbishment and repurposing of over 4,500 furniture items, saving approximately $2.6 million and almost 30,000 kilograms of landfill. We are also proud to have partnered with Australia Post to achieve a 13.5% First Nations Participation rate across the contract. We are honoured to contribute to Australia Post's mission to reconnect with their community, digitise their ways of working, and implement sustainable and progressive construction techniques to complement their transformative workplace strategy.
