CCSC are proud supporters of the Onside With The Mariners program. Focusing on one of our most pressing issues in the region, domestic violence, the program is coming to life due to a $1M Grant from the Office Of Sport and Premier Minns, Onside With The Mariners has been co-designed by the University of Newcastle in conjunction with the Department of Education with a point of difference being that the content is softened by focusing on healthy relationships, empowerment and bringing a sporting lens to the content. We are honoured to stand beside Premier Minns, Minister David Harris and @ccsportscollege Alumni, Mariners NPL player and Academy Coach, Jess Garrett. @ccmariners @uni_newcastle @business_nsw

  • Balancing Sport and Studies: At CCSC we provide the environment for our student athletes to excel both academically and in their chosen sport. Associate Professor Andrew Gardner is someone who has achieved both and visited the College recently to chat about his career path that led him from the sports arena to becoming an expert in the field of concussion. Pursuing a path within the sports industry, (to stay close to the action), he is a strong advocate for sport and education in one. #ccsportscollege #centralcoastnsw #centralcoast #sportandeducatio #foreverinspiring

  • Business NSW consistently supports businesses across the Central Coast through strategic initiatives and B2B connections, helping us to drive innovation and create pathways for our student-athletes. • An important topic, as it's through education that we can overcome barriers to sports participation. The lessons we impart through real life examples can inspire belief in inclusivity, equality; essentially that sports participation is for everyone, regardless of background or abilities.

Happy International Women's week 2024! 🫶 It has been a fitting week to announce that the first batch of Game Face Pro products were shipped to our customers this week, marking a significant milestone in our mission to redefine sun protection. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire team, whose unwavering commitment has moved us forward every step of the way. Game Face Pro isn't just about creating another sunscreen—it's about revolutionising the way we approach sun protection. ‘Changing the way people feel about applying suncream everyday’ Inspired by personal experiences and fueled by a desire to make a positive impact, I set out to develop a product that addresses the challenges of traditional sunscreens head-on. Our commitment to innovation and sustainability shines through in every aspect of Game Face Pro. Our products are 100% Organic & Vegan, formulated with a no-sting formula and fortified with high-performing natural ingredients suitable for all ages and skin types. As we embark on this next phase of our journey, we are thrilled to announce that we working with partners and are booking partnership meetings with businesses who share our vision for sun safety and prevention. Becoming a Sun Safe Partner with Game Face Pro means joining forces in a dedicated partnership to reduce skin cancer and sun damage. Together, we can educate your employees, students, athletes and/or peers to influence attitudes, knowledge, and behaviors in sun protection. With programs operating in each state and territory of Australia, we are committed to making a meaningful impact on a national scale - focusing on three types of game changer champions: Athletes: Through our partnerships with athletes, we aim to influence a culture of sun safety among sports enthusiasts worldwide, emphasising that protecting skin is as essential as enhancing performance. Parents & Children: Our collaboration with families extends beyond mere protection—it's about instilling lifelong habits. By integrating sun protection into morning routines, we empower parents and children to prioritise their health and well-being from an early age. Businesses, Schools, Clubs: Through strategic partnerships, we provide resources and guidance, empowering these entities to champion sun protection initiatives. Together, we make sun safety a collective responsibility, safeguarding individuals and our environment. I am reminded of the power of collaboration and inclusivity in driving positive change. As we celebrate the achievements of women everywhere, let us continue to champion diversity, equality, and empowerment in all aspects of life.
