Last week, our team had the privilege of participating in the launch of the 2025 Property Council of Australia and Serendis Leadership Inclusive Leadership Mentoring Program. It was a fantastic opportunity for our mentees, Charl Stephan Nienaber and Rebecca Remaili, and our mentors, Sarah Hua (Cuthbert), Brendan Looby, and Kristy Bartlett, to learn more about the program, connect with peers from across the property sector, and hear personal experiences from 2024 program participants, including Lauren O'Neill. The Inclusive Leadership Mentoring Program pairs experienced industry professionals with future leaders to provide guidance, support growth, and transfer knowledge through workshops, networking events, and learning resources. Congratulations to the Investa team, and all 2025 mentees and mentors selected!

The sky’s the limit at 360 Queen Street, Brisbane! Today marked another significant milestone for the building, with our teams celebrating the topping out with our project delivery partners including joint venture partner Charter Hall, Hutchinson Builders and Blight Rayner Architecture. Soaring 33 levels high, the $800 million state-of-the-art commercial tower in the heart of Brisbane's Golden Triangle continues to attract high-quality tenant customers. 360 Queen Street recently secured a 10-year lease with HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, who will join an impressive roster of future tenants including QIC, Herbert Smith Freehills, HopgoodGanim Lawyers, and BDO in Australia. Expected to reach practical completion in late 2025, 360 Queen Street will enhance workplace well-being with premium end-of-trip facilities, a wellness centre, vibrant retail laneway, and abundant natural light, all powered by 100% renewable sources. This year’s Formula 1 Grand Prix is zooming past our Melbourne assets. At 120 Collins Street, the display of two iconic models from Porsche Centre Melbourne - the 718 GT4 and the 911 Targa 4S - was expanded to include a Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 Coupe and a Fiat Sport 850. We also hosted our own race in the lobby, where occupants competed for the fastest lap on racing simulators, vying for Porsche and Ferrari branded prizes. 567 Collins Street partnered with Downer Transport & Infrastructure to showcase the resurfacing of the Albert Park Circuit in 2023 by the Specialised Pavements Team. This upgrade has made racing even more thrilling, with new overtaking opportunities and drivers reaching speeds of up to 330 km/h! The lobby at 567 Collins also featured a Formula Ford racing car courtesy of Altatek Racing. Director Glenn Jagger engaged with occupants, discussing Formula Ford racing and how their multi-disciplined team of coaches, engineers, and mechanics work together to bring out the best in young drivers, providing a pathway to career opportunities in the sport.

We were pleased to welcome our partners from the Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS) back to our offices as part of Climate Action Week Sydney (10 – 16 March). Dr Francisco Martínez Baena , Dr Claudia Santori, and Associate Professor Mariana Mayer Pinto shared exciting updates on SIMS projects, including Operation Crayweed, Living Seawalls, and Project Restore. We are proud to support Operation Crayweed, a nature-positive initiative led by SIMS. This project focuses on protecting and restoring Crayweed, a marine forest-forming kelp that covers a significant portion of New South Wales’ shallow, rocky coastline and plays a vital role in marine biodiversity. To date, Operation Crayweed has been one of the most successful kelp restoration programs in Australia, with over 2,600 new Craybies at the three sites managed by Investa managed funds, ICPF and IGO, at Lurline Bay, Maroubra and Dee Why.

From sessions on boosting workplace productivity and communicating with clarity, to exploring how AI can be leveraged in our day-to-day workings, it was a great opportunity to share, learn, and uncover emerging ideas from across the business and beyond. Germaine Graham also hosted a panel with Clifford Leeson, Corinna Vogt, Ellie Gerrans, and Toby Heaton-Armstrong, who shared their inspiring career and development journeys. A huge thank you to our presenters Jay Pottenger, Tracey Brooks, and Adel M. for their insights and contributions to such an informative and impactful week.

Every year on 8 March, International Women’s Day celebrates the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year's theme, “March Forward: For All Women and Girls,” emphasises that progress requires bold, decisive actions to transform commitments into meaningful change. It's an opportunity to create a future where all women and girls can thrive. Our journey continues with several key initiatives that promote gender equality and inclusivity. Our new Gender Equality Strategy and Action Plan sets a clear direction for 2025-2030. In 2024, 61% of our Leadership Academy development program participants were women; our inclusive policies support all working parents, regardless of gender; and our Family and Domestic Violence Policy provides paid leave and financial assistance. We are proud to maintain a gender balanced executive team and uphold a 50% gender representation on our Board. This year, we asked our team at Investa what “March Forward” means to them. Here’s what they had to say 👇 Peter Menegazzo Amy Wild Mark Tait Brendan O'Brien Sally Franklin Adam Crowe Lesley Chan Sarah Hua (Cuthbert) Natalie Singue Ella M. Adel M. Sharan Murthy Lisa Story Christine Yang Ishara Williams Liam Stewart Despina Roussakis Trevan Robinson Christian Allen Molly Keane George Lepessiotis Hilary Phelps Mark Podgornik UN Women Australia #MarchForward
