🌏Last week, I had the pleasure of joining the panel on Innovation in Advanced Manufacturing and Technology at the Australia-China Economic Cooperation Forum. We discussed how Artificial Intelligence and Earth Observation technologies are transforming the way we approach sustainable initiatives and climate risk assessment. In a world where climate dynamics are evolving at an unprecedented pace, the ability to gain rapid, actionable insights has become essential. Leveraging AI-driven analysis with high-resolution satellite imagery allows us to assess risks more frequently and accurately, guiding proactive decisions in areas ranging from disaster resilience to resource management. It is about enabling communities, industries, and governments to anticipate and adapt swiftly and sustainably. We are excited to announce that the Greater Hobart Bushfire Exposure Index, a critical tool for bushfire preparedness and risk mitigation, is now available to the public. This year’s platform assesses 94,000+ buildings across 132 suburbs, with expanded coverage to Clarence, Sorell, and Brighton council areas.
