Holding six Olympic medals as a coach, including two golds, Bernardo Rezende, better known as Bernardinho, offers a unique perspective on leadership. From 1996 to 2016, spanning over two decades, Bernardo Rezende expertly guided his volleyball teams to medal-winning performances in all six Olympic Games they competed in. Prior to his coaching career, he also achieved Olympic success as an athlete, securing a medal himself. Bernardinho recognises that leadership roles are inherently temporary. Whether in sports or life, today's leader can be tomorrow's follower. One day you might be at the top of your game, and the next, someone else could take your spot. This reality applies everywhere — from the volleyball court to the highest political offices or corporate boardrooms.
