Over three impactful days, Henry Gardner and Dr James Whitehill showcased JVAT’s specialised and independent capabilities aligned with the #AUKUS alliance across Australia, the UK, and the USA. Thank you to Team Defence Australia, the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), and Defence Australia for an impressive display of Australian industry at #AUSA2024. The week concluded with US and Australian defence industry leaders gathering for the 2024 G'Day USA Dialogue. Over the past 6 months, JVAT has supported Liam Gandhi in undertaking his masters thesis project that explored the key strategic and logistic inputs required to sustain air operations in remote parts of Australia. Exercise Pitch Black 2024 was used as a case study to understand extended supply chains and safe operations in Australia's northern regions.   Stakeholders and industry leaders from the RAAF Air Mobility Group (AMG) were engaged throughout the project to develop the problem space and identify key solutions regarding this issue.
