We’re proud to continue our support for Telethon7 and WA kids with a $2 million contribution to this year’s tally. This includes two new wheelchair accessible vans, which will allow the outstanding team at Western Australian Motor Industry Foundation Inc (Wheels for Hope) to continue delivering the gift of mobility for Western Australian families with disabilities. A big thank you also goes to our MinRes team members volunteering in the Call Centre and at the Telethon Family Festival. #Telethon2024 #IncredibleTogether

Pedal power for the Perkins! Last weekend Team Mines once again took on in the Cancer 200 Ride in support of the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. Our team of 87 riders saddled up for the popular 200km round trip from Perth Stadium to Mandurah, with MinRes volunteers on hand to help keep riders hydrated, fed, motivated and safe. This year Team MinRes raised an impressive $885,999, boosting our overall contributions to $2.5 million since 2017. Congratulations to everyone involved.

Big congratulations to MinRes partner Buru Rehab - Earthworks & Civils – winner of the Indigenous & Community Engagement Award at last night’s Australian Mining Prospect Awards. We were proud to nominate Buru Rehab for this award, which recognises collaboration between an Aboriginal-owned business and mining and minerals processing companies. Buru Rehab Director George Todd was on hand to accept the award and acknowledged our partnership while emphasising the importance of rehabilitating Country once mining activities are complete. A majority Indigenous-owned Kariyarra company, Buru Rehab was this year awarded a five-year contract for road maintenance and civil works at our Wodgina lithium mine in the Pilbara. We're proud to again partner with the Y WA to support the Inside Our Minds campaign – a series of short films giving a voice to young people with lived experiences managing mental health. Each day during Mental Health Week, a new video featuring courageous young people talking about their mental health will be shared on social media and big screens at Yagan Square, Northbridge Piazza and Curtin University. It’s the fourth year MinRes has partnered with the Y WA, one of Australia’s largest youth organisations, for the Inside Our Minds campaign. 🚴♂️ This week MinRes held its annual Ride-a-thon fundraiser in support of the MACA Cancer200 Ride: a ride to help beat cancer. Our team rode hard from 6:30am to 4:00pm while spectators watched on, supported our event raffle and got behind our 98 riders set to pedal from Perth to Mandurah and back on 12-13 October 🌟 It’s not too late to support Team MinRes: https://brnw.ch/21wNrJr
