Cradlepoint, part of Ericsson has issued a challenge to uncover the most unique places that Australian partners have deployed a #Cradlepoint device. We think these shots 📸 must be right up there! This is the stunning 🌟 Ellis Beach and Double Island 🌟 , 30 kms north of Cairns in Far North Queensland, Australia. This was an innovation grant project with First Nations land and sea rangers. They use tethered underwater drones to find crocodile nests 🐊 and monitor seagrass meadows which are the feeding grounds of endangered sea life like the dugong; and green, loggerhead and flatback turtles. 🐢 Aerial drones are used to spot turtle nests and also the feral animals 🦊 that might prey upon them. The MobileCorp team deployed the Cradlepoint W2005 outdoor #5G adapter on a temporary mast to provide live-streamed video over the #Telstra public 5G network to a group of Elders 16 hours' drive away. 📢 Project Alert - Using #Cradlepoint-#Ericsson #5G outdoor adapters and the #Telstra #5G network to create a secure private network between six supermarket distribution centres. 📶 Challenge: The company wanted to share sensitive data files between its sites without using the public mobile network.
