In a footrace to the mat against Eden and Cyrell, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and sister Melinda Sheldrick were our second team to be eliminated from The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition. The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition reached 1.2 million viewers and its 10 Play live stream audience was up 40% compared to the same episode last year. Taking a fun look at the week that was, The Cheap Seats hosts Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald were joined by Mel Tracina, Adam Rozenbachs and special guest Daria Saville. The Cheap Seats was up 11% week-on-week and was #1 in its timeslot with shares heads above its competition. The Cheap Seats is achieving its biggest BVOD audiences ever, which are up 19% year-on-year. Aussies race to attention! 🏃♀️ 💨 The launch of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition reached 1.44 million Aussies last night and logged its biggest ever live stream audience on 10 Play (up 48% from its 2023 launch). Have You Been Paying Attention? reached 1.27 million Aussies, and was up 7% week-on-week. It was #1 in its timeslot with incredibly dominant shares (53.2% in 16 to 39s). And they’re off! Our eleven teams began the race around the world, trading their creature comforts for the chaos of Buenos Aires. The first team eliminated from The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition was mother and son, Julie and Luke McGregor. Luke said: "It was disappointing that we got out so quickly, and that Mum’s arch nemesis Ian Thorpe got through because she’s always wanted to beat him. "It’s the hardest thing I’ve done on TV, I think. It reminded me of doing cross country as a kid." Luke and Julie were competing in support of MUDGIN-GAL, an Aboriginal organisation delivering support, referrals and community-based services to Aboriginal women and families in inner-city Sydney. Beau said: "Working on Top Gear, I did a lot of listening, and working with two other hosts was tricky at times but I think that improved me because I picked up different tips, techniques and skills from the other hosts. There was a moment at the back end of the race in Asia when I genuinely thought teams would be lost forever." "They were very supportive of each other this year; everyone worked really well together. In one of the tensest finales of Hunted to-date, just two teams remained in the race to make it to the extraction point of Gem Pier in Williamstown. With the Hunters already circling Chelsea and Romanee’s last known location, it was Andy who became the sole Fugitive to make it onto the extraction boat, diving into the water to avoid capture and winning the $51,500 he had stashed in his backpack. Andy said: “I was disappointed that I wasn’t on the boat with Deb because we really hoped to be there together, but it was a huge relief that, as a team, we had done it. Its 10 Play audience was up 24% vs 2023. 💺 The Cheap Seats is achieving its biggest BVOD audience, up 22% vs 2023. 🚪 Thank God You're Here lifted its timeslot 9% year-on-year. ▶ 172 million minutes were viewed 10 Play last week, its highest in six weeks.
