    Managing Director (CIW.ASX)

As reported by InDaily 7NEWS Australia Network 10 The Advertiser The State Commission Assessment Panel has approved the development of a 183m high tower, Adelaide’s first skyscraper. I’m pleased to have taken carriage of this project from inception, achieved this milestone, and prepared for the next body of work on the path to completion. The first stage of this project was not the site; it was the people. The Freemasons of SANT are a collection of humble, caring, and thoughtful men that any one of us would be proud to call a brother. This project commenced with understanding the past and the desire to create a better future. The members, faced with the loss of one of their most important assets, bravely chose to trust me and several capable members to undertake a literal ‘make-or-break’ project. We’ve been measured and spent carefully while carrying the weight of expectations on our shoulders. Henry Davis, Simon Gray LLB, GAICD, FCG Brenton Leitch, Nicholas Handley, Boyd Sparrow, David Booker and others donated an astounding amount of time, often attending board meetings for more than 5 hours long, not only to make decisions but also to undertake the learning required to represent their members well. They should all be very proud of and remembered for their astounding personal commitment. During this time, we have established two new charities, reorganized the entire operating structure of the association, and established an investment management framework ready for the future. Today's approval would not have been possible without the commitment and intellect of our outstanding consulting team: anthony balsamo Mark Berlangieri Walter Brooke Hamish Banks Nick Roach Arup Sam Hosking Hosking Willis Architecture Fabian Barone Renae Grida Future Urban James Levinson Botten Levinson Lawyers David Beer Thomson Geer Kale Rigano Norman Waterhouse and many others. Pelligra ® our joint venture partner has been equally committed to this project after joining us late last year. The building will consist of an observation deck, Westin Hotel and Museum dedicated to South Australia's history, people, events and stories. The observation deck will create a new experience and a new perspective for everyone to enjoy. Westin Hotels & Resorts by Marriott International will deliver the states best wedding and events venue at the top of the town. Dedicated conference and business lounge facilities will make it easier for our industry, services and agriculture to entertain interstate guests and grow our economy. The museum of South Australia's history will be unlike anything we've seen before. In 2027, in a world where news moves fast and the phone in our pocket moves faster, we will rise to the challenge of creating a modern museum experience. We will tell the stories of South Australia—its people, events, and places. History is not just the ancient past; it is being created right now, and you are part of it. What's your story? Let's create a place to share it!

Honored to host the representatives from the APY lands, Mr King & Mr Singer, as they visit Inovor Technologies to witness the ‘Kanyini’ satellite before its journey to space 🚀 ‘Kanyini’ means responsibility and unconditional love for all of creation and encompasses the key principles of Aboriginal life including creation (tjukurrpa), soul (kurunpa), family (walytja), and land (ngura) - it is an enormous caring with no limit; it has no timeframe and is eternal ✨ This cultural exchange underscores the importance of community engagement in space endeavors, reconnecting us with the significance of our shared Earth. Engaging with communities not only amplifies the impact of our work but also fosters a deeper understanding of how space technology can benefit and respect country and its people 🛰️ Government of South Australia | South Australian Space Industry Centre | SmartSat CRC | Myriota #SpaceForAll #FromCountryToSpace #APYLand #Kanyini

🎅✨ Exciting News: Inclusive Sensory Santa Sessions Launched! 🌈🎄 Embrace the magic of Christmas, as the beloved Santa’s Cave in Port Broughton on Yorke Peninsula introduces ‘Sensory’ sessions this festive season, a first for many regional South Australian families. In an initiative to spread Christmas cheer to everyone, Barunga West Council proudly announces that children with autism and/or sensory processing disorders can now experience the joy of meeting Santa in a serene and sensory-adjusted setting. These special sessions provide a gentle environment, free from overwhelming noise and crowds, ensuring a peaceful and magical encounter with Santa. Australia's first Assistant Minister for Autism, Hon Emily Bourke MLC was a special guest at Santa's Cave on Tuesday, December 12. Ms. Bourke, appointed to the role by South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas, joined a Sensory session with students from Port Broughton Area School. This move towards greater inclusivity during the festive season is spreading to regional areas, following the success of Sensory Santa sessions in metropolitan centres. Sometimes referred to as "Silent Santa," these sessions offer children with autism and/or sensory processing disorders a quiet and welcoming environment to visit Santa. The exclusive time set aside for Sensory Santa caters specifically to those who require sensory-sensitive surroundings and their families. The Sensory Hour on Monday, 18 December 2023, from 10 am to 11 am, will provide a low-sensory, quiet viewing experience with reduced crowds, noise, and distractions. Bookings are essential and can be made by contacting Barunga West Council at barunga@barungawest.sa.gov.au. Council will also schedule other sessions leading up to Christmas if there is enough demand. Let's make this holiday season truly magical and inclusive for every child! 🌟🤗 #InclusiveSanta #SensoryMagic #ChristmasCheer #InclusiveHolidays #localgovernment #councils Autism SA Local Government Association of South Australia (LGA of SA)

APY (Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara) is excited to share a glimpse into the future with the upcoming Pukatja (Ernabella) Community Pool and Youth Centre in the APY Lands. APY Lands General Manager Richard King, APY Administration Director Rex Tjami, and Gary Lewis, Chair of the Pukatja Community Council, came together this week with the Governor of South Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, to tour the construction site run by Fusco Constructions, and supported by RASAC. The new pool and youth centre will be the heartbeat of Pukatja, providing not just a place to cool off, but a hub for social wellbeing. This will be a welcome addition to the already existing four school pools in Pipalyatjara, Mimili, Amata, and Yalata Anangu Schools, which have been the cornerstone of both school and community life on the APY Lands.
