We’re looking for a Production Manager who is highly skilled in technical hands-on lighting, sound AV, and staging to maintain the smooth running of productions, tours, events and functions, including pre-production periods, rehearsals, and Load-In/Out periods. You’ll need a keen eye for detail, the ability to schedule the team’s work and coordinate with the creative team to ensure all production elements are prepared for seasons and events. We are delighted to announce critically acclaimed choreographer and New Breed alumni Raghav Handa, as The Balnaves Foundation Artist in Residence for 2025. Moving into its second year, this valuable initiative allows independent choreographers to work across all departments of Sydney Dance Company for one year, exposing recipients to a complete artistic, production and administrative cycle. Raghav Handa is a celebrated choreographer and dancer of Indian heritage, whose works have featured in festivals across Australia and internationally. His movement combines traditional Kathak and contemporary language creating a unique vocabulary which he fashions into multifaceted, engaging explorations of complex and challenging themes. Our audience loved his New Breed work in 2020, and we can't wait to have Raghav join us again in 2025. A big thank you to The Balnaves Foundation who has made this enriching program possible and has generously supported emerging choreographers for over a decade through New Breed.
