  • Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Certificate III in Tourism students from Charles Darwin University Palmerston to the Top End Visitor Information Centre. This visit was an exciting opportunity for the students to immerse themselves in the tourism industry, gaining firsthand insights into the vital role of a visitor centre and the work we do at Tourism Top End. The students were eager to learn, asking insightful questions about our diverse regions, the types of travellers who visit, and how we assist them in planning unforgettable experiences. They also had the chance to explore our centre, engage with our team, and collect valuable resources to support their studies. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm from the next generation of tourism professionals. We look forward to seeing where their journey takes them! 👏 🎉

  • Welcoming the Queen Anne to Darwin! On Monday, March 10th, we had the pleasure of welcoming Cunards newest liner Queen Anne on her Maiden Voyage into port. Queen Anne marked our most successful cruise ship day with 2,555 passengers and 1,233 crew members, she even slept overnight. To encourage tourism, the lawns of Tourism Top End were activated, with a Crocodile from Crocosaurus Cove and a Snake from Territory Wildlife Park, adding a true Northern Territory touch! The Top End Visitor Information Centre was buzzing with activity as guests eagerly booked their tours and explored everything Darwin has to offer. We recorded 1,500 customers using the Visitor Information Centre services - that’s more than 50% of the passengers! A big thank you to everyone who made this visit a memorable one!  Cunard Cruise Ship Photo Credit : Territory Savvy

  • Last month Tourism Top End was pleased to support the NT Business Events NT team at AIME 2025.  With over 4500 attendees and 700 exhibiting companies – its is a highly competitive trade event. The NT Stand had 13 industry partners , 5 activations and to draw the clients in, we served Laksa for breakfast. On behalf of TTE Members we promoted pre and post touring and the ability of our Visitor Information Centre to manage these bookings on behalf of conference organisers.  #NTBusinessEvents #BusinessEvents #NorthernTerritory #AIME25
