Announcement: Canyon-1H Drilling Program Completed! The Canyon-1H Drilling Program has been successfully completed with the well drilled to a Total Depth (TD) of 4,616m. An 822m long section of the targeted Canyon Sandstone was drilled, with strong gas shows and indications of condensate recorded throughout the target section. Omega's CEO and Managing Director, Trevor Brown, said "The success of the Canyon-1H drilling program is an excellent achievement for the Omega team after 18 months of planning and preparation. Omega has achieved some important 'firsts' by successfully drilling the Canyon-1H horizontal well." Huge congratulations for everyone who has collaborated and been involved in this project. Our exploration efforts are in full swing across the EinGold and Ravenswood projects, where we're drilling over 5 kilometres of Reverse Circulation and Diamond holes to refine our geological models in these promising gold and copper regions. It was great to have our Country Manager Australia, Andrew Hackwood, on-site to inspect the drilling operations, which are being expertly overseen by Lennard Kolff van Oosterwijk , our newly appointed General Manager of Minerals. Vidya Harikumar, Director of People and Culture, and James Huxtable, Manager of Contracts and Procurement, also joined the site tour, witnessing firsthand the impact of their hard work in Corporate Services. Breaking news: Omega Oil and Gas Limited has completed a $6.5 million institutional capital raise. Here is what Omega Oil and Gas Limited CEO and Managing Director, Trevor Brown said “Omega is delighted with the strong response to the capital raise. The raise was well supported by existing Australian and international shareholders, and we welcome several new, high-quality investors onto the register. The success of the raise reflects strong interest in Omega’s exciting, upcoming Canyon-1H project - a significant test of the large resource potential of the Taroom Trough. “The upcoming Canyon-1H project will see Omega drill a horizontal well section ahead of a planned multi-stage hydraulic stimulation and flowback trial to test for potentially commercial flow from the Canyon Sandstone. The Taroom Trough is emerging as a likely new source of urgently needed gas in Eastern Australia. “The funds raised will put Omega in a strong position to realise the value in the Canyon Gas Project by providing flexibility to expand and accelerate appraisal activities, undertake early development planning if the initial Canyon-1H program is successful, and to participate in business development opportunities as they arise.” Ilwella, Tri-Star Group, Prenzler Group https://lnkd.in/eSqB-6md

Well done to Tri-Star’s ‘Tri-Stair Trekers’ who once again completed the River to Rooftop last week to raise vital funds for the Women’s Legal Service Queensland. It coincided with the 40th anniversary of the Women’s Legal Service, whose work positively change lives of women and children impacted by domestic violence. The team completed the 55-floor stair climb of more than 1,000 steps. Plenty of laughs along the way and a team breakfast followed. Well done Sam Dunstan, David Carroll, Vidya Harikumar, Lennard Kolff van Oosterwijk, Taylor McCaw, Katherine Hobbins, Mitchell Jensen, and Jesse Savage.
