Sarah Lightfoot wins 2024 IEAA Leadership Award! 🎇 We are thrilled to announce that Sarah Lightfoot, CEO of UNSW College, has won the prestigious 2024 IEAA Award for Leadership in International Education, presented at the International Education Association of Australia's annual conference in Melbourne on October 23. This award celebrates Sarah's outstanding leadership across the international education sector, including her impactful roles in ELICOS, VET, and Higher Education, both in Australia and globally.  Since joining UNSW College in 2021, Sarah has redefined our strategy and spearheaded transformative initiatives that are expanding opportunities for students worldwide. Her leadership, particularly in the expansion of UNSW College’s TNE footprint, continues to inspire. Yesterday was a day filled with celebration and reflection as we marked a milestone - 35 years of inspiring minds through Foundation Studies at UNSW College! 🎉 We kicked things off with an afternoon of fun - pizza, games, and prizes for our students. As evening fell, we took a moment to look back, hearing from staff members who were part of the inaugural Foundation Studies group. They shared stories that gave us a glimpse into the early days of the program. Our alumni stepped up to share heartfelt stories about how Foundation Studies has shaped their lives and studies. Their experiences highlighted the support and opportunities that have helped them succeed at university. We also took time to acknowledge our wonderful partners - your support has been key to UNSW College’s success. It’s been a busy few months celebrating 35 Years of Foundation Studies and our longstanding partnerships in Singapore and Indonesia. 🚀 Across both countries, we welcomed 50 partners, including representatives from Scape Australia, Flywire, and UNSW. The occasions commemorated 35 years of our Foundation Studies program and in Indonesia marked the 30th anniversary of our first Transnational Education (TNE) partner, Uniprep USG Education. We recently hosted the inaugural UNSW College VIP Partner Awards for onshore Australian agents, bringing together old and new friends. 🎉 The atmosphere was electric, with a palpable buzz as we celebrated our valued onshore partners and their contributions to our shared success. From July 24th to 27th, we had the pleasure of hosting the UNSW College China Agent Workshop in the beautiful setting of Anji, Zhejiang. This workshop was a perfect blend of information sessions, a knowledge carnival, a Bondi-themed gala dinner, team workshops, and exciting outdoor activities. We were thrilled to welcome 35 top counselors from 19 agents and our lovely sponsorship partner from Flywire. Celebrating 30 years of TNE success in Indonesia! 🎉 We’re thrilled to commemorate three decades of transforming lives through transnational education in Indonesia with our long-standing partner Uniprep USG Education. Over these 30 years, we have proudly graduated more than 3,500 students and helped them succeed beyond the classroom. Our recent 30th-anniversary event was nothing short of extraordinary, bringing together over 500 aspiring students, alongside distinguished government ministers and vice ministers.
