Mitch has always believed that the path to employment involves more than just resumes and interviews; it is about providing real human support. Putting that belief into practice has earned Mitch the accolade of The Institute of Employability Professionals Australia Member of the Month for July. Read Mitch's story of supporting a customer who was facing homelessness, by addressing their essential needs, and getting them into secure work in record time. https://lnkd.in/eDnhycaH Thank you to the The Institute of Employability Professionals for recognising Mitch's professional accomplishments, no doubt enhanced by what he has learned in attaining his AIEP accreditation.

Joanne has had a huge impact on the lives of many of our Moe customers. Check out her "Meet the Team Q&A" to find out what makes Joanne tick. Q: What do you like most about your job? Jo: Assisting people to get into employment, and seeing the positive impact that has on them. Q: What do you do in your spare time? Jo: Spend time with family Q: How have you recently helped someone looking for work? Jo: I recently worked with a customer who was concerned he would never be employed due previous contact with the justice system. We started off taking small steps to get all of his documents together, including birth certificate and white card, and enrolled him in a course. It was wonderful to see his confidence grow with each step, and with a lot of persistence on his part, we finally helped him secure a permanent job. Q: What 3 words would your best friend use to describe you? Jo: Caring. Thoughtful. Persistent. Q: What's your top tip or advice for someone looking for work? Jo: Never give up and never underestimate yourself, there is a job out there for everyone!
